Overview of the program
A stock is the representative ownership claim in a business. A stock market, also known as a share or equity market is an aggregation of the buyers and sellers of these stocks. i.e. it is where these shares are bought and sold similar to the marketplace for tangible goods. A stock marketer is someone who has expertise regarding the function of the stock market and applies this expertise in the stock market in order to accumulate profits. A cryptocurrency is a form of digital currency. Cryptocurrencies are secured by cryptography, hence the name. They are almost impossible to counterfeit. Since their introduction into the market, the value of cryptocurrencies has expanded many times over. Still, much ambiguity surrounding cryptocurrency has made some reluctant to invest.
01Is cryptocurrency money?
Money is a medium of exchange. i.e., money is used to obtain something you want without giving up a good in exchange. Cryptocurrency is defined as an electronic currency. Though it is best looked at as a cross between a stock and a currency. In its current phase cryptocurrency is primarily bought as an investment, though gradually more avenues are opening up for it to be used as a medium of exchange.
